Principal function(s): Note taking

A tool for collecting, storing, and organising information. Users can take notes, upload images, take pictures, record audio, and organise them by folders. It can be used on up to two different devices in the free version, and all data gets synced automatically. Data can easily be shared with other users. Requires registration. Evaluation: A useful data-sharing and organising tool because it allows for the creation of groups and sharing of video, audio, and other content. For instance, users can create reminders, classroom calendars, and more. Evernote is also practical and useful for note-taking for research projects since it allows having different notebooks and an array of editing features. Average IT skills are required for its use.
