Users can also upload links and images to accompany notes. Coggle offers a limited yet comprehensive free version. It requires having an account to create content.

Evaluation: Coggle is a great resource for studying individually, or for brainstorming as a class or in small groups. It is user-friendly and straightforward. The free version should suffice for educational purposes. Coggle's interface clearly presents and displays information in the form of branches.

Cost: Free with registration + paid plans available.

Respect for privacy Privacy evaluations indicate how a tool handles personal data collection, storage, and sharing, including GDPR compliance and security measures, among others. The ICT-REV team provides them for informational purposes, reflecting our best understanding at the time of review, but assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these evaluations and encourages users to conduct their own assessments: Medium. Coggle collects only the necessary personal information necessary for the operation of the service, such as name, email address, avatar, gender (if declared), and language settings. Coggle’s policy is transparent about data sharing and privacy settings, although it could nonetheless provide more information on security measures. Users have control over their diagrams' privacy settings and can choose whether diagrams are public or private. They can also close their accounts to delete personal information. While the policy generally complies with the principle of compliance, it could specify the relevant data protection laws that apply. For example, GDPR is not mentioned. See more here.
