Flippity, an activity, game and quiz creator

Description: Flippity is an online tool for creating interactive activities, games, and quizzes. Teachers can choose from a series of activities on Flippity, such as flashcards, quizzes, bingo, and more, and edit the default content to adapt it to the topic of study. Flippity is completely free to use and does not require signing up or having an account. It was developed by Steve Fortna, a software developer.

Evaluation: Flippity is a useful and straightforward tool for creating interactive materials and thereby making classes more engaging and fun. It can be beneficial for developing linguistic skills like vocabulary acquisition, grammar practice, and language comprehension. Respect for privacy Privacy evaluations indicate how a tool handles personal data collection, storage, and sharing, including GDPR compliance and security measures, among others. The ICT-REV team provides them for informational purposes, reflecting our best understanding at the time of review, but assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these evaluations and encourages users to conduct their own assessments: Medium (?). Flippity’s privacy policy is very simple: no personal data is abused, misused, shared or sold since users do not input any data but the content of their activities. No data ever gets uploaded, downloaded, saved or stored on Flippity services and, as a consequence. However, they partner with Google services for analytical and advertising purposes, with targeted advertising being displayed on its interface.
