Respect for privacy Privacy evaluations indicate how a tool handles personal data collection, storage, and sharing, including GDPR compliance and security measures, among others. The ICT-REV team provides them for informational purposes, reflecting our best understanding at the time of review, but assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these evaluations and encourages users to conduct their own assessments: Medium. Akinator collects data to improve its services but does not specify the types of data collected. It mentions taking reasonable measures to protect personal data, although it lacks specific details about security practices. However, the website provides links to external websites which may also collect personal or general data. The use of these websites and the collection and use of personal data by these websites is not regulated by Akinator. It also displays some quite intrusive ads on its interface.
