Google Classroom, a platform for classroom management

Description: Google Classroom is a communication platform between teachers and students. Teachers create virtual classrooms where they can share assignments, announcements, and resources with students. Students then join these classrooms using a unique code provided by the teacher and can access assignments, submit work, and engage in discussions within the platform. Google Classroom is free to use for schools, teachers, and students. Users are required to sign up for a Google account to access Google Classroom.

Evaluation: Google Classroom is a straightforward and valuable tool since it allows sharing files and keeps records of assignments and course content. It has both browser and app versions, so it can be used on the go. Its different features make it a versatile tool that also helps with correcting homework and monitoring student progress. Google Classroom is easy to use, particularly for users familiar with Google’s suite of tools. Overall, it is not the most privacy-friendly course management tool, but it is practical.

Cost: Free with registration and a Google account.
