Analyze My Writing is an online text content and readability analyser. By copying a text into the homepage, users can visualise extensive information about it, including word and character count and length, the readability of a text, and more. It also provides useful articles and references for information on readability and lexical density. Analyze My Writing is free and does not require having an account for use. Evaluation: Analyze My Writing is a valuable tool to gather data about a text. A useful function is to create a word cloud with the most used words or even Cloze tests that measure students’ reading skills and their level of expertise regarding a topic. Analyze my Writing is mainly thought for texts in English, but it might be used for other languages as well. It is overall an easy-to-use, completely free tool that does not gather any personal data or cookies. Another similar tool is VersaText.
