Medium. YouGlish does not require login for use, so it collects limited personal data. However, it gathers information such as browser type, IP address, domain name, date and time of access, and pages visited. The purpose of collecting this data is primarily for site functionality, security, and analytics under the basis of consent, legitimate interest, and contractual necessity. YouGlish employs cookies, among which Google Adsense for advertising. In terms of security, it uses HTTPS encryption and industry-standard safeguards. It stores data in servers in the United States but, in some cases, also in other jurisdictions. Personal data on YouGlish is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above – more detailed data on that is not provided.
