OneNote is a note-taking tool developed by Microsoft for capturing, organising and sharing information across various devices. It operates as a digital notebook, allowing users to create multiple notebooks, sections, and pages for sorting their notes, drawings, and multimedia content. It also allows users to collaborate on specific files with others in real time. OneNote is available for free as part of the Microsoft Office suite. Signing up for a Microsoft account is necessary to access and synchronise notes across devices and to collaborate with others in real time. Evaluation: OneNote is a valuable tool for teachers, students, and users in general to create, organise, and share notes and different files. It can facilitate collaborative note-taking, project management, brainstorming and research. It is somewhat similar to other note-taking tools such as Evernote.

Cost: Free as part of Microsoft Office's tool suite.
