Road to Grammar

Road to Grammar is a website offering various resources and exercises for learning English grammar targeted at young learners, teachers, and adults. Users can navigate through different grammar topics and access exercises, quizzes, and explanations to practice and improve their English grammar skills. The website is free and does not require signing up for use. Evaluation: Road to Grammar is a practical and easy-to-use site that can foster autonomous grammar learning. For teachers, it is time-saving to find ready-made materials for English teaching. Road to Grammar also offers games that might be more entertaining for specific learners. Another tool it contains is “Text Analyzer”, which rates the difficulty of a text according to CEFR Levels, and has other useful functions such as generating suggested vocabulary lists and directing users to an online dictionary to show their meaning. Basic IT skills required.

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation.
