Pitch, a tool to make collaborative presentations Tool to make collaborative presentations

Slide presenting

Description: Pitch is a tool to create, edit, and share presentations, mainly focused on teamwork. Users can choose from many templates and customise them while importing content such as timelines, charts, icons, gifs, stickers, and images to create their slides. Other users can then collaborate in real-time and even turn on their cameras and communicate on the platform. They can also assign slides to people, add statuses to slides about different stages they are in (for example “to do”, “in progress” or “done”), write comments, add reactions, leave presentation notes, share the presentation and invite other participants. Pitch offers free and paid versions. It does not require logging in to visualise presentations but yes for creating or editing them. Pitch was developed by a team led by Christian Reber.

Evaluation: Pitch is a valuable and versatile presentation tool that is especially suitable for teamwork. Its interface is intuitive and modern and the results look professional. While it does not target any specific language skills, it can be used to deliver presentations in class. For teachers, it could be useful to create a task where students create and deliver presentations in groups on specific topics, helping them acquire the required grammar and vocabulary constructions. Average IT skills required.
