Description: Pearltrees is a digital curation tool that helps organise, discover, and share online content in the form of pearls arranged in customisable collections called trees. Users can add web content to their Pearltrees account by dragging and dropping URLs, files, photos, and notes into their collections. They can then organise these items visually, connect related content, and share their collections with others. Pearltrees was developed by Patrice Lamothe and others in 2009. Pearltrees offers free and paid versions, together with an educational mode. It requires creating an account and logging in for its use.

Evaluation: Pearltrees is a valuable tool for teachers and students to gather and organise content from the internet and share it with their network. It can also be used for team projects. Pearltrees is a visual tool somewhat similar to Padlet or Taskcards. Basic IT skills required.
