It is free to use and does not require signing up or having an account to browse content. However, to personalize content and create collections, users need to sign up for an account.

Evaluation: Flipboard is a valuable tool for teachers and students since it allows creating personalised online magazines by aggregating news, stories, and different social media content. Teachers can use it to compile interesting texts to read and share them with students. It can also bolster collaborative work among learners if asked to work in groups to produce their own magazines.
