Autonomous learning

Description: Talkpal AI is an AI-powered language learning tool - a chatbot that simulates dynamic and personalised conversations. In its free version, it allows 15 minutes of usage per day. Talkpal AI provides real-time feedback on users’ errors. It is suitable for users of all proficiency levels. Talkpal AI was developed by ViveVirtual.

Evaluation: Talkpal AI can be a valuable tool for autonomous language learning. By engaging in simulated conversation with a chatbot, learners can improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills and thereby consolidate and expand their vocabulary. They can type their answers, as well as use a microphone. Talkpal AI provides immediate feedback concerning grammar and vocabulary, so learners can practise many competencies of a language at the same time. Talkpal AI can be quite engaging because it simulates real conversation and allows learners to write and talk about their topics of interest. Although the free version is rather limited, it can already serve the purpose of practising a wide range of languages for 15 minutes a day.
