Crossword puzzle creators

Description: EclipseCrossword is a software tool for creating crossword puzzles. It allows users to input words and clues, then generates a crossword puzzle grid automatically. EclipseCrossword was developed by Green Eclipse Software and is available for free. It requires installing to create them but not setting up an account.

Evaluation: EclipseCrossword tool is an easy-to-use tool with clear instructions and a simple interface. It also has a comprehensive ‘Help’ link. Crosswords can be created quickly and easily and students can access them directly via web browser. It can be used for educational or recreational purposes, enhancing linguistic skills such as vocabulary and problem-solving. It is only available for Microsoft. Basic IT skills required.
