How to get involved?

Individuals with a special interest and professional background in the topic of this particular project are invited to take up contact with the ECML National Nominating Authority in their country so that they can be considered for participation in the corresponding project workshop.

  • Content focus on digital literacy

    • Exploring a teaching approach which fully integrates social interactions;
    • Building activities for the teaching and learning of languages which contribute to the development of competent and autonomous language learners and users;
    • Discussing and providing feedback on the pilot phase.

    Expected outcome of the workshop (for the participant)

    • Knowledge and ability to use new technologies to:
      • develop and implement teaching and learning tasks;
      • develop the necessary competences to complete these tasks;
    • Ability to train other teachers face-to-face and/or online using the project platform.

    Expected outcome of the workshop (for the participant)

    • Bank of collectively built tasks which can be (re)used in varied contexts;
    • Exchanging and networking with colleagues from different teaching backgrounds.

    Profile of participants

    • Professional background
      • language teachers in secondary schools, higher education, adult education;
      • teacher trainers.
    • Experience and comptences required
      • Basic computer skills and internet browsing skills. For the workshop, it is recommended that participants bring their own device.
    • Expected involvement/tasks before, during and after the event
      • Before: participation in an online preparatory phase (first stages of the workshop);
      • During: contribution to and collaboration in the development of tasks, exchanges of best practices and resources to feed into the project material;
      • After: Implementation of some of the tasks elaborated during the workshop, feedback and discussion on the project forums, dissemination work concerning the project and its resources, delivery of training.
