This website presents a web inventory of online, interactive materials with a search engine filtering tools according to language skills, type of interaction, pedagogical functions, etc. In addition, a MOODLE workspace for learning more about using online tools in the classroom is available.

Welcome to the inventory of freely available online tools and open educational resources for language teaching and learning developed by the ICT-REV project! The inventory contains a list of tools that have been evaluated with sound pedagogical criteria in mind. Read more


A simple, free, blogging, Google-based platform with a high level of flexibility in customisation (from backgrounds and images to text fonts and text colours). It involves various features of other Google tools, so it may seem a little complicated at first. It is easy to attach files of any type. A Google account is required.

Évaluation: Blogger is one of the most widely used and popular blogging and publishing platforms available. Pedagogy-wise, it is an excellent tool for encouraging the promotion of your pupils’ writing skills and opinion sharing. May be used by both teachers and students. As with any blogging tool, interaction is possible through the commenting function, which makes it perfect for an asynchronised group work. Keep in mind that, as with any blogging tool, the final product is visible to all Internet users, which may be a privacy concern with underage students. Average IT skills are prerequisite for using Blogger.
