3. Teacher/whole-school collaboration 

Introduction

In order to support vulnerable students with academic difficulties, you need to engage the whole school community.

The figure below shows different possibilities for language teachers and subject teachers to organize their collaboration and to progress towards a more and more language and subject integrated learning.

For example a short term but intensive collaboration would help to define together aims for a lesson or two while a longer term collaboration could mean producing an integrated syllabus with precise descriptors.
