Plectica, a mind mapping and diagramming tool

Mind mapping

Description: Plectica is a visual mapping and diagramming tool for organising ideas, concepts, and relationships. Users can create visual representations of their thoughts and concepts using various shapes, colours, and connections. Then they can share these mind maps or diagrams and work on them collaboratively. Plectica offers a limited version and requires signing up for an account for use.

Evaluation: Plectica is a useful tool for brainstorming in a class or smaller groups, together with helping create a visual representation when working on more complex topics. It is user-friendly and versatile since information can be arranged in lists, columns or freely, and moved by simply dragging it. Relationships can be emphasised by relating several cards with an arrow. All changes get saved automatically.

Cost: Free with registration + paid plans available.
