Welcome to the Inventory of freely available online tools, developed within the framework of the ICT REV project of the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML). It brings together resources for language teaching and learning, selected by and for language educators. Use the filters and examples below to explore the inventory, or suggest a tool to be added.

Description: Adobe Express, formerly known as Adobe Spark, is a software for creating posters, flyers, video presentations, social media content, and more. Users can choose a template and then customise it to their liking with different fonts, colours and images. Adobe Express has recently incorporated AI functionalities to create images and flyers, as well as an AI assistant. It is available in desktop and mobile applications. It offers a limited free version and requires a sign-up for use. Adobe Express features a specific site for teachers on its website.

Evaluation: Adobe Express is a valuable resource for creating engaging lessons. Its interface is easy to use, and there is a wide range of different features to choose from to create a design, including in-built templates and more. Adobe Express can also spark students’ creativity and add an entertaining twist to classes. It also has designed a free course that shows how to employ Adobe Express AI-powered functionalities designed for education.

Respect for privacy Privacy evaluations indicate how a tool handles personal data collection, storage, and sharing, including GDPR compliance and security measures, among others. The ICT-REV team provides them for informational purposes, reflecting our best understanding at the time of review, but assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these evaluations and encourages users to conduct their own assessments: Medium. Adobe collects personal and usage data. It tracks and profiles students with Adobe IDs, but student data is neither shared with third parties for marketing nor sold. Adobe provides security controls and encryption for personal information and content.
