Welcome to the Inventory of freely available online tools, developed within the framework of the ICT REV project of the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML). Post-it App, a note-taking app

Description: The Post-it App is helpful for organising, capturing, and sharing handwritten Post-it Notes. Users can digitise physical Post-it Notes by taking pictures with their mobile devices and then organise them into digital boards. It is available for free, with additional features offered through in-app purchases. Signing up for an account is not required. The Post-it App was developed by 3M Company.

Evaluation: The Post-it App is a valuable tool to organise notes and ideas. For teachers, it can be useful for organising notes taken during lessons and sharing them with students, as well as organising them for other occasions. It can also be used for brainstorming or planning in teams. Digitised images can also be included in PowerPoint, Excel, Dropbox, and others.

Cost: Free + in-app purchases.

Respect for privacy Privacy evaluations indicate how a tool handles personal data collection, storage, and sharing, including GDPR compliance and security measures, among others. The ICT-REV team provides them for informational purposes, reflecting our best understanding at the time of review, but assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these evaluations and encourages users to conduct their own assessments: Medium. Post-it collects technical data, location information, and images. It shares users' information with third parties, allowing them to use it on an aggregated, de-identified basis. Post-it mentions the implementation of security measures to protect user information. It also outlines several user control options, such as opting in or out of push notifications, viewing or deleting certain information within the app, or deleting an account.
