Flashcard creatorsMind mappingNote takingQuiz/exercise makers

Description: NoteGPT is an AI-powered learning assistant designed to help users summarize, organize, and interact with content from various sources, including YouTube videos, PDFs, articles, audio files, and images. It also allows users to create presentations, flashcards, mind maps, and even podcasts. NoteGPT can support educators in creating teaching materials and quizzes and help students with their studying, if used properly. NoteGPT is available as a web app and Chrome extension, with a limited free alongside paid plans.

Evaluation: NoteGPT is a practical and time-saving tool for learners and educators. As with other AI-powered tools, it can hinder learning if used incorrectly, i.e. if employed for every single task without pedagogical considerations. However, NoteGPT can be a powerful all-around assistant, helping create AI-generated summaries, visual aids like mind maps, and various types of exercises for various linguistic skills, including reading, writing, and listening. The free version should suffice for classroom use.

Cost: Free + paid plans available.
