During this training event, 34 participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the pluralistic approaches and tools offered by the website of the Framework of reference for pluralistic approaches to languages and cultures (FREPA), namely descriptors, online learning materials, as well as (self-)training modules.

The trainers created an excellent working atmosphere maintaining a good balance between time spent on theory and time devoted to participants' reactions. They helped the participants both to recognize the specific benefits of pluralistic approaches and to enrich their own knowledge and skills in order to help  their learners to develop their plurilingual and intercultural skills in a concrete way.

Participants were able to identify the links between the FREPA descriptors and the orientations of their curriculum through exchanges on: the educational context of the participants; didactic and pedagogical challenges that teachers expect to encounter during their teaching and concrete examples from the European context.

As a result of the event, participants feel they are now able to design teaching and learning activities that involve several linguistic and cultural varieties and also to integrate pedagogical activities that foster a positive perception of different languages and cultures.
