Poll and survey creatorsQuiz/exercise makers

Description: Particify is an interactive tool designed for creating and hosting live polls, quizzes, and Q&A sessions to enhance engagement in educational and training environments. It is available as a web-based platform where users set up virtual rooms for their events. Participants can join these rooms using their devices to take part and interact in real time. Particify can be used for both in-person and online events. It is open-source, free to use, and complies with GDPR regulations. Participants join with a code as guests and do not need an account. Particify was developed by ARSnova.

Evaluation: Particify is a highly effective tool for promoting engagement and interaction in the classroom. Its straightforward and user-friendly interface, together with its real-time feedback capabilities, make it a handy resource for teachers and educators. It is based on open-source development and complies with GDPR regulations, ensuring data privacy, transparency, and accessibility. In this regard, it fares better than other similar tools such as Mentimeter. However, the requirement for account creation to manage rooms might be a minor inconvenience for some users. Overall, Particify is a versatile and reliable tool for interactive learning and presentations.

Cost: Free.
