Inventory of ICT tools and open educational resources

Welcome to the Inventory of freely available online tools and OERs for language teaching and learning developed by the ICT REV project. The tools have been selected by and for language educators. There are different ways to search for tools and various examples below. You can also suggest a tool to be added to the Inventory.

Infogram, an interactive, AI-powered infographic, chart and map creator

Description: Infogram is a tool for creating and sharing interactive infographics, charts, and maps. Users can create visually appealing infographics by selecting from a variety of templates, charts, and maps. They can then customize the content, colours, and styles to suit their needs. Infogram offers features for adding data, text, images, and icons to create engaging visual representations of information. It also offers an AI-powered function to create materials. Infogram offers both free and premium plans. Users are required to sign up for an account to use Infogram. Infogram was acquired in 2017 by Prezi.

Evaluation: Infogram is a valuable tool to create interactive content and make classes more engaging. It is also easy to use and provides professional-looking results. A slight drawback is that the free version allows only for 10 projects of no more than 5 pages each to be created.

Cost: Free limited version with registration + paid plans available.

The ICT-REV team provides them for informational purposes, reflecting our best understanding at the time of review, but assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these evaluations and encourages users to conduct their own assessments: High. Infogram collects only the personal data needed to fulfil its commitments and obligations to customers. It does not sell user data and limits access to personal information by third parties. Infogram implements technology solutions (including encryption), process controls, and trained people to secure user data. Also, it does not conduct business with user data from minors or use the it for any commercial purposes. Infogram allows users to access, modify or cancel their data on the platform.
