Welcome to the Inventory of freely available online tools, developed within the framework of the ICT REV project of the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML). Ayoa, a digital whiteboard, mind mapping and project management tool

Description: Ayoa is a collaboration tool for task management, brainstorming, and project planning. It offers three main tools: digital whiteboards, mind maps, and task boards, which can be connected and flexibly used together. Users can create to-do lists divided into three categories: now, next, and soon. They can also add interactive content on the digital whiteboard, such as sticky notes, checklists, flow charts, or images. Participants may also assign tasks to team members and track progress. Content on Ayoa can be exported as Word or PDF documents, or image files. Ayoa offers a limited free version and requires signing up for use. It was developed by the UK-based software company OpenGenius.

Evaluation: Ayoa is a practical and versatile visual task management and collaboration tool. It can be engaging and useful for learners and teachers since it provides an intuitive and visually appealing interface that makes task management and collaboration fun and interactive. Ayoa can also be used for note-taking and teamwork. It offers mobile apps for iOS and Android, which allow users to access their tasks and projects from anywhere and at any moment.

Cost: Free limited version + paid plans available.

Respect for privacy Privacy evaluations indicate how a tool handles personal data collection, storage, and sharing, including GDPR compliance and security measures, among others. The ICT-REV team provides them for informational purposes, reflecting our best understanding at the time of review, but assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these evaluations and encourages users to conduct their own assessments: Medium. Ayoa collects user data such as name, job title, department, industry, email addresses, but also platform, device and technical information for operational, analytical, and marketing purposes. It shares the aforementioned data with third parties for the purposes mentioned before, excluding marketing non-Ayoa products. It uses Google Analytics too. However, it emphasises user consent as the lawful basis for processing users' data, and it encrypts this data. Ayoa acknowledges users' rights to access, modify, and delete their data.
