Description: ToonyTool is a web-based platform for creating custom cartoons, animations, and memes. Users can import their own files or choose from a range of tools and templates to design and customise characters, backgrounds, and scenes, which can then be animated using various features. Once finished, content can be shared online or downloaded and printed out. ToonyTool is free and does not require having an account. It was developed by Zygomatic.
Evaluation: ToonyTool is a handy resource for making cartoons, comics, and memes. It can be used for creative writing activities and storytelling. ToonyTool is best suited for younger students, as the characters and props are a bit juvenile and seem to be aimed at a younger audience.

It also mentions that data is deleted after a retention period of 26 months. ToonyTool acknowledges users’ rights to access, modify or delete their data. It does not state compliance with the GDPR.
