Respect for privacy Privacy evaluations indicate how a tool handles personal data collection, storage, and sharing, including GDPR compliance and security measures, among others. The ICT-REV team provides them for informational purposes, reflecting our best understanding at the time of review, but assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these evaluations and encourages users to conduct their own assessments: High. Hokusai Audio Editor, as stated by Wooji Juice, gathers as little private information as possible about its customers. It explains that if a user installs and uses an app, most likely no user information is being provided besides anonymized usage data. Wooji Juice’s privacy policy explicitly mentions not collecting user data or storing information on the cloud in a way that is accessible. Wooji Juice does not use analytics software to track users as they browse the internet, which enhances transparency. Users have control over what information they send, and no data is gathered automatically without their explicit action. Wooji Juice does not mention compliance with the GDPR since the last policy update is from 2018, but it stores data outside the EU, so it may be non-compliant. See more here.
