Tweedback is an audience interaction platform that facilitates real-time, anonymous feedback and interaction in lectures, classrooms, meetings, and events (in-person, virtual, or hybrid). Participants can easily access sessions via a web browser on their preferred device (smartphone, tablet, PC) using a simple Session-ID, requiring no registration or app download. Its core tools include a Q&A chatwall, live polling/quizzes, and a "Panic Button" for immediate, non-interruptive feedback on the lecture's pace and understandability, among others. Tweedback offers a very comprehensive free plan. It is a web application and requires neither downloading any app nor login for participants, although creators need to have an account. Tweedback collects no personal information from participants without an account, and only minimal personal information for those who do, primarily name and email address when users purchase services or subscribe to the newsletter. However, it automatically collects temporary log file information (e.g., date, time, browser, anonymized IP addresses) for system stability and security. Also, Tweedback shares user data with different service providers for operational purposes, such as hosting, database management, email delivery, and billing, but protects this transfer through legally binding agreements, committing third parties to EU data protection standards. User data is protected using SSL encryption during transmission and is stored using technical and organizational security measures.
