Pons software offers different linguistic tools such as translation, spell-checking, dictionaries, conjugation tools and vocabulary and grammar trainers. Pons translation is currently available in 27 languages and, at times, it offers context translation. Pons can be used in its browser version, installed as a browser section or a device app. It has extensive translation and language learning activities provided by PONS German lexicographer company, with a free version. Evaluation: Pons provides a valuable tool for translating, whereby users can also learn new vocabulary in context, as well as a verb conjugator, dictionary and more. It is therefore an interesting and rich language-learning resource that can prove useful for many situations. It also provides peer-reviewed pronunciation for words.

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation.
