Wordwall

Wordwall is a free online tool for creating learning activities. With it, teachers can enter the topic that they would like to cover in class into the Wordwall and receive a variety of ready-made, fully customisable activities such as quizzes, word games, maze chases, and much more. Users also can create their own activities from scratch. Moreover, most activities on Wordwall can be used in both interactive and printable formats. Evaluation: Wordwall is a quick and easy-to-use tool to create interactive activities for your class. This tool offers a wide variety of activities to choose from and makes learning much more fun. Furthermore, it is available in many different languages. One of the tool´s drawbacks is that users can create only up to 5 activity types with a free account. Afterwards, activities have to be deleted to make space for new ones.

High. Wordwall.net collects personal information such as title, first name, last name, email address, username, and password from teacher users. This information is collected to create and set up user accounts, create resources, share resources with other teachers, and assign them to students. For students, the tool collects data when users set assignments that collect the student's name and responses to questions. This data collection is intended for educational purposes, helping teachers track student performance. Wordwall.net does not share user data with third parties unless explicit instruction is given by the user. It does not sell user information or data collected from its website. Wordwall.net uses cookies to enhance user experience on the website. Concerning security, Wordwall.net securely stores user data on database servers operated by Microsoft (Azure), and all remote access is conducted over HTTPS, ensuring data is transmitted securely. Wordwall allows users to update or remove their account information by emailing the provided address. Subject access requests are also accepted. Wordwall complies with the GDPR. See more here.

Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation.
