Voicethread, a visual and slide presentation tool for discussion

Description: VoiceThread is a collaborative tool for creating, sharing, and discussing presentation slides by attaching various forms of media, including images, videos, documents, and audio recordings. Users can upload media files to Voicethread and then add voice or text comments to create interactive discussions around the content. VoiceThreads can be set as private within a group or completely accessible for anyone with a link. VoiceThread offers a limited free version that allows creating 5 VoiceThreads, requiring only an email address for account creation. It was created by Steve Muth.

Evaluation: VoiceThread is a great tool for language teachers to facilitate discussion outside of the classroom. It can also be used as a presentation tool for students, particularly for team projects, since it allows different users to contribute to the slides by typing texts or recording their voices and simultaneously work on the same project.
