AI Teaching Assistant Pro, an AI-powered assistant for educational course design

AI content & media generationAI instructional design & teacher supportAI feedback & assessment

Description: AI Teaching Assistant Pro is a generative AI application developed for educators and faculty members to automate and simplify time-consuming pedagogical tasks such as drafting syllabi, formulating multiple-choice questions, and creating assessment rubrics or learning shorts, among others. The tool allows instructors to upload their own lecture notes or transcripts to work on and so ensure that the content is grounded in their specific academic materials. AI Teaching Assistant Pro is web-based, free to use, and does not require an account for three of its features, although Learning Shorts and Faculty Assistant do not ensure that content stays private and is not used for AI training, alongside Slide Builder that requires ChatGPT.

Evaluation: AI Teaching Assistant Pro is a practical and time-saving tool for educators. It can do a lot of the "heavy lifting" of course administration and preparing materials, allowing teachers to focus more on student engagement and pedagogical refinement. It is particularly easy-to-use because it provides specific templates for common teaching documents. However, teachers ought to review all AI-generated content to ensure it is accurate and relevant. For tutorials, please refer to this webinar or the tool’s website.

Cost: Free.
