Lingt, a tool to create speaking assignments and assessments

Description: Lingt is a tool to create speaking assignments, assessments, and learning activities. A possibility is to embed recordings and thus create exercises targeted at improving listening comprehension. Educators need to have a Lingt account to create or participate in activities, track progress, and communicate with teachers or peers. However, students do not need an account to access assignments. Lingt offers free and paid plans.

Evaluation: Lingt is a valuable and time-saving tool for teachers to assess students’ language abilities. Teachers can embed voice recordings into their assignments, as well as YouTube videos or images, so it is a flexible and customisable platform.

Respect for privacy Privacy evaluations indicate how a tool handles personal data collection, storage, and sharing, including GDPR compliance and security measures, among others.
