Sutori, a platform to create digital lessons

Slide presentingTimeline creators

Description: Sutori is a storytelling platform for creating interactive timelines, presentations, and reports collaboratively. Users can choose between using a template or creating their own content from scratch and then incorporate text, images, videos, and audio into it. They can also indicate to others the order in which to visualise different resources within the same presentation, making use clearer. Sutori provides a limited free version and requires creating an account for use. It was created by Thomas Ketchell.

Evaluation: Sutori is a handy tool to create visual and interactive lessons for their students. It offers templates classified by subject, thus streamlining class preparation. Essentially, teachers can create digital lessons resembling digital textbooks with Sutori. Unfortunately, its free version does not support quizzes, videos, or polls, restricting its use substantially.

Cost: Free with registration + paid plans available.

Respect for privacy Privacy evaluations indicate how a tool handles personal data collection, storage, and sharing, including GDPR compliance and security measures, among others. The ICT-REV team provides them for informational purposes, reflecting our best understanding at the time of review, but assumes no legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these evaluations and encourages users to conduct their own assessments: Medium/high. Sutori collects names, email addresses, and age. It uses third-party analytics services but only for operational purposes and not advertising. Also, it mentions security measures such as encryption. Sutori has specific privacy and security measures for users under 13 years old, whose names are never displayed and some features disabled. Users can delete their accounts and all associated data at any moment. Sutori states compliance with the GDPR. See more here and here.
