Educandy, an educational game creator

Game apps

Description: Educandy is a tool for creating short and interactive learning activities. Users enter vocabulary lists or questions and answers, and then Educandy converts the input into fun interactive games such as multiple choice, crossword puzzles, hangmans, and other memory games. These games can then be played with the whole class or individually. Once an activity is created, a unique code is generated, which can then be shared with students so that they can play the games on their own devices. Activities can also be embedded into websites. Educandy is free but requires signing up for an account for use for teachers.

Evaluation: Educandy is a useful tool for creating interactive activities for students to acquire vocabulary. It is easy to use and does not require much setup time, being a valuable time-saving resource.

Cost: Free with registration.
