Quizizz is a tool which allows teachers to create their own quizzes. The tool allows teachers to use various question types: multiple choice, checkbox, fill-in-the-blank, poll and open-ended questions. It can be used in class time or for practice, as the teacher can choose between play live or homework. The useful feature for the busy teacher is that it allows them to state their standards for grading and view reports of the students’ progress. There are many existing quizzes ready for use.

Evaluation: With its gamification it makes the experience more fun and attractive for students. It allows students to practice on their own or challenge their friends. The students are also rewarded certain power ups which they can use after a streak of correct answers. It is possible to set a timer, also to put the students into teams. It can be used to set and keep track of homework, and the student progress reports can be set so that parents can view. It works in a classroom setting and remotely. It can be used with students of all ages.
