Welcome to the Inventory of freely available online tools and OERs for language teaching and learning developed by the ICT REV project. The tools have been selected by and for language educators. There are different ways to search for tools and various examples below. You can also suggest a tool to be added to the Inventory.

Description: Wakelet is a platform where users can save links, posts from social media, pictures, and videos, and organise them into collections or Wakelets. They can also invite other people to collaborate and work together on the same Wakelet by sharing an access code. Wakelets can be set as public or private and shared with a single link. It offers a limited yet quite comprehensive free version and requires users to sign up for an account to create Wakelets, but not to visualise them. Wakelet is available in website and app forms.

Evaluation: Wakelet is useful for organising and saving multimedia content in one place. It is a user-friendly website and app that allows for communication between students and teachers, and also for teachers to curate content to be used for a course.

Cost: Free limited version + paid plans available.
