Welcome to the Inventory of freely available online tools and OERs for language teaching and learning developed by the ICT REV project. The tools have been selected by and for language educators. PlayPosit, an interactive video lesson creator

Quiz/exercise makers

Description: PlayPosit is an interactive video platform for creating and sharing interactive video lessons. Teachers can add various interactive elements such as questions, discussions, and additional content to existing videos in order to engage learners. These videos can be created or retrieved from outside sources. Playposit also provides an online library with pre-designed free lessons organised by area and subject. It offers a limited free version and requires sign up for use. PlayPosit was founded by Benjamin Levy, Susan Germer JD, and Swaroop Raju.

Evaluation: Playposit is a valuable resource for educators to make their classes more engaging. Its interface is straightforward and intuitive and allows teachers to easily access student progress statistics regarding lesson questions. It is also worth browsing the library to discover what other teachers have created for their lessons. Average IT skills required.
