Blabberize

A tool that lets you speak through a picture. Any picture can be uploaded and an area selected to be the ‘mouth’. This ‘mouth’ will move and act like a real mouth at the same time as the recorded voice is being played.

Evaluation: Very simple, user-friendly, creative and fun to use. Teachers can use Blabberize to encourage students to speak in class (less threatening and more fun to speak through a cartoon). With its creative visuals, this tool could be very engaging for primary and secondary school students. Very basic IT skills required for its use.
