Babylonia dedicates its latest issue to pluralistic approaches to languages and cultures - in other words, to teaching orientations that prepare learners for multilingualism and interculturalism while strengthening their motivation to learn.

The contribution focuses on several projects within the current ECML programme (FREPA, MALEDIVE, PARENTS), in particular highlighting the importance of the Framework for pluralistic approaches to languages and cultures (FREPA) in the context of the ECML.

FREPA has contributed to the recognition of pluralistic approaches. It has also sparked new experiments and projects all over Europe. This process is described in arrange of different contexts in this issue
