Respect for privacy

Medium. The IHMC, which operates CMap, offers high levels of privacy. As a desktop application, CMap stores data locally on the user's device. When using the CMap Cloud or public CMapServers, users must create an account, but IHMC does not share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Still, CMap uses Google AdSense Advertising to show ads on its website. The tool provides users with control over their maps' visibility (private or public). CMap does not state compliance with the GDPR. See more here.
