LearnEnglish is an online platform for supporting adult learners in learning English. It features links to many online courses (live, self-study, personal tutoring) and online level tests, alongside a variety of resources organised under headings such as Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Grammar, Vocabulary, General English and Business English. Signing up is not required for use, but doing so provides access to additional features, such as tracking progress, participating in forums, or receiving personalised recommendations. It was developed by the British Council. Importantly, the British Council has developed similar tools for for children and teenagers: LearnEnglish Kids and LearnEnglish Teens.
