Several young people who should have been enjoying the last weeks of school term were tragically killed this morning in Graz.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to families and friends of the victims and to all those at the BRG Dreierschützengasse caught up in this senseless act. Violence is never the answer and schools should never be places of violence. Losing so many innocent lives is hard to comprehend.

The European Centre for Modern Languages is proud to call the city of Graz its home. We hope that together we can find the strength and resilience to come through this tragic event.
