Polish on-line Journal for FL teachers “Jezyki Obce w Szkole”: ECML related articles

The latest issue of the Polish on-line Journal for FL teachers “Jezyki Obce w Szkole” has just been made available. An article features a presentation of the Reference Framework of Pluralistic Approaches to Languages and Cultures (FREPA/CARAP) by Anna Schröder-Sura and Michel Candelier which was developed within the framework of an ECML project (2008-2011).


In her article Anna Czura (member of the ECML “PluriMobil” coordination team) focuses on peer evaluation in a language classroom. Another article highlights the findings of the Language Rich Europe project  (where ECML was Associate Partner).

This publication opens ways for implementing pluralistic approaches in classrooms in order to develop the plurilingual and intercultural competences of learners of all subjects.
Target users: teachers of all subjects with an interest in plurilingual and intercultural education, teacher trainers, decision-makers, curriculum/programme designers, textbook writers.

Mobility for plurilingual and intercultural education – Tools for language teachers and teacher trainers, 2011
The publication offers a ‘double learning scenario’ for trainee teachers and pupils in primary and secondary school including a user guide for pedagogical monitoring of mobility experiences, both real and virtual.
Target users: teacher trainers and (future) teachers for primary and lower secondary school, engaged in mobility programmes.
