National Nominating Authority

Agencies in each member state linked to ministries. They are responsible for selecting participants to the Centre's activities.

 Main tasks of the National Contact Point: 

1. assuring the information flow on the ECML's activities reaches national educational institutions;
2. facilitating and providing back-up services to Austrian experts who participate in ECML's activities, and
3. giving support to the Austrian nominating authority;
4. organising regional and national dissemination events.

Services

On the basis of the above profile, the National Contact Point offers the following services: 

1. creating and co-ordinating a nationwide dissemination structure in Austria:
   a national network of multipliers (teacher trainers, language experts, ...) from a variety of fields and institutions;
2. providing information on the ECML's programme of activities;
3. providing information on ways and means of participating in ECML's activities;
4. hosting a database subdivided into subject areas and educational fields and institutions containing information on Austrian experts in the area of foreign language learning, and their involvement in the ECML's programme of activities.
