This tool was developed within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the European Centre for Modern Languages and the European Commission

bubbl.us

Principal function(s): Mind mapping

A tool for creating mind maps. It allows users to create, save, and share up to three maps for free. It requires setting up an account but no installation is required. Evaluation: A useful, online mind mapping tool. It can be used as visual support to help bring out relevant vocabulary and highlight relationships between concepts in an appealing manner. Very user-friendly. It enables saving work for future use, as well as editing by different users. A drawback, in comparison to another mind mapping tool, CMap, is that it does not enable synchronous editing. Basic IT skills are required for its use.

Cost: Free with registration (with up to 3 mind maps) + paid premium plans
