ActivePresenter

ActivePresenter is an all-in-one screen recorder, video editor and eLearning software. This tool allows you to create video tutorials, as well as eLearning content in HTML. Moreover, you have the option of simply importing a PowerPoint Presentation and editing it. The user has the option of including different types of activities to their eLearning materials such as quizzes, fill-in blank questions.

Evaluation: ActivePresenter is an interactive tool that gives users the possibility to create their own online content from scratch. It requires quite a techie user and familiarisation time for a first project. Download onto your computer is required. There are a wide range of features in this program that make everything fully customisable, making the creation of video tutorials or eLearning content flexible and individual. The free version includes all the features and doesn't have a time limit, though, exporting your video tutorials to other formats will generate a ‘watermark’.
