Reverso

Reverso offers different linguistic tools such as translation, spell-checking, dictionaries, conjugation and synonym tools, and more. It is currently available in 15+ languages. The Reverso Context section offers translations for words and expressions from external sources in context. Reverso can be used in its browser version, installed as a browser section or an device app. Evaluation: Reverso is a useful tool for learning vocabulary in context. One of its most helpful features is that It allows learners to acquire new words after seeing them in a sentence and not as isolated words. It also allows importing articles, documents or other content into Reverso. After registration, users can save words and expressions into their profile and later memorise them in the app while following their progress. Signing up allows the use of other features.

Medium. Reverso collects various types of data during its registration process, although this is not needed for using the platform. However, it gathers cookies and shares them with third parties and advertising partners for commercial purposes. Reverso’s privacy policy mentions taking necessary precautions, organizational and technical measures for data confidentiality. Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation.
