Powerschool

Principal function(s): Course management

PowerSchool is an interface for primary and secondary school teachers where they can use special tools for different parts of their teaching process. The planboard can be used for lesson planning as well as for managing the teacher’s schedule. Its digital curriculum functionality helps educators check for redundancies, inconsistencies, misalignments, weaknesses, and gaps in the curriculum as well as document their required components and the intended student learning outcomes. Moreover, the markboard helps educators with the evaluation of students and tracking their individual progress. Resources provide a chance for educators to share their insights and lesson plans with colleagues. Evaluation: PowerSchool is a useful tool for educators which accompanies and helps them in every step of the teaching process. It can also help them reduce the time spent on planning lessons and make the preparation of each lesson easier. Another valuable aspect is that it makes tracking the students’ progress much easier.
