Chalk

Principal function(s): Course management

Chalk is an interface for primary and secondary school teachers where they can use special tools for different parts of their teaching process. The planboard can be used for lesson planning as well as for managing the teacher’s schedule. The curriculum helps educators check for redundancies, inconsistencies, misalignments, weaknesses, and gaps in the curriculum as well as document the required components of the curriculum and the intended student learning outcomes. Moreover, the markboard helps educators with the evaluation of students and tracking their individual progress. Resources provide a chance for educators to share their insights, lesson plans etc. with their colleagues. Evaluation: It is a useful tool for educators which accompanies and helps them in every step of the teaching process. It can also help them reduce the time spent on planning lessons and makes the preparation of each lesson easier. Another great aspect is that it makes tracking the students’ progress much easier.

Cost: Free with registration + paid options available
