Dieses Tool wurde im Rahmen einer Kooperationsvereinbarung zwischen dem Europäischen Fremdsprachenzentrum und der Europäischen Kommission entwickelt.

Lyricstraining

Hauptfunktion(en): Autonomous learning

An easy-to-use tool for testing language knowledge and memory. Learners can choose a genre, pick a song and fill in the gaps in the lyrics. It comes with adjustable levels of difficulty that are useful for different age groups. It is also available as an app, called Lingoclip. Bewertung: A practical tool to practise a target language by listening to music and guessing the lyrics. It has a gamified interface and system that can appeal to learners for practising the target language, similar thus to Duolingo and other language-learning apps. Lyricstraining keeps track of your score, allowing students to compete against one another. However, this function requires setting up a free account. Teachers also have the ability to customise songs and choose the lyrics to be filled in by their students. When using the app version, it limits the number of songs you can play for free to 3 songs in 30 minutes, although there are no limitations on the website version. Overall, it can be a helpful complementary tool for language learning, and it can help learners introduce the target language into their daily life by simply listening to music.

High, login is not required to access the web version, however the app version requires a user account. It collects information such as name, email and age (in order to prohibit access to age restricted content) that claims it does not share with third parties. See more here.
